i came across her as she was going to some terrace in then neighborhood to hang out the clothes to dry. she is this really thin and tall woman with normal features and nothing too special, looks-wise. but she has some grace about her. she lives with her husband in a house that has a thatched roof. she takes care of the people she has to, so well. she is patient and calm. she is a housemaid.
a maid who has to work very hard everyday to make both ends meet. she never accepts leftovers if she doesn't need them.. the couple try very hard to eke out a living honestly. they have no children of their own. they adopted a child a few yrs ago. till date, the maid gives the child all her love and works to give him good education firstly. she is happy. the child is happy to have such good parents.
look at life.
here we are, wondering if someone stole a few rupees from our pockets , not trusting our own people or people working for us. we are selfish. we want ourselves to be comfortable and bother the least about others to put it simply. look at this poor lady, who never accepts she is financially very weak, doesn't believe in BORROWING money, however she is in dire need of some financial support. it sure doesn't look like ego or the like, she is honest and sincere.
she is beautiful. the child is blessed. though lowly, her job might be, she could bring herself to adopt ONE child. who knows!! she might be making a huge difference in the child's life!!
i am proud of such a person.
