my day

I am glad my friend finally finished reading R.K.Narayan's autobiography "My Days" ... which i had read during the study holidays :D one awesome book, we agree :-) but for one spooky part :-|

i am currently reading Jeffrey's archer's short stories and i really love the story "Old Love". my eyes were moist as i read the last line ... "legend has it that, they were never apart for more than a few hours".

the vijay tv debate programme "neeya naana" has bored me for 2 consecutive weeks. usually the topics are good and the participants too, throw in some valid points. but the last 2 episodes have had me curled up in the couch with my eyes almost about to shut themselves exasperatedly.

I am shocked at certain DANCE CONTESTS for CHINNA THIRAI stars.. :| these shows are synonymous with just one simple word... APPALLING.. until a few days back, i was thankful that at least the costumes were not skimpy. but i just discovered that the elite and decent sense of dressing is ebbing out at a magnitude tantamount to the diminishing/vanishing/disappearing/evaporating costume part or costume itself ... and iiii saayyyy NO!

i think my blog has slept its summer sleep enuf
WAKEY WAAAAKEEEY!!!

sadly, i ve no topic to blah-blah about. that's partly because, i am busy, lazing around... and partly because i dunno.
i might sound like a nut here, but the exams have done something to me. they spook me way too often.
i always want to make sure i do satisfactorily. but i end up screwing my exams royally.

i wonder if this strange belief that, "bad dreams must be voiced out aloud to someone, if u dont want them to happen" is actually true...... i really really wonder ...

other strange beliefs that leave me puzzled :

• if a girl's left eye twitches, something good is bound to happen
  
• if it happens for a boy, something bad will happen
• if a girl's right eye twitches, it indicates something bad
• if this happens to a boy, its the opposite
• if my left foot itches, i am going to travel
• if my right foot itches, i am going to fall sick

what the hell is with a twitch and an itch?? :|

i went to mylapore kapalishwara temple. wonderful architecture.

only one of the seven wonders of the world is in India. left to myself, i can adjudge hundreds of buildings as wonders of the world. strange that the taj mahal, a symbol of love, has appealed more, to the world.. than our own brilliantly built temples of great architectural importance. no offence, but i mean, who would of thought building a temple that doesn't cast its shadow on the ground at all? Raja raja chozhan is celebrated merely as a king.
